Se desarrolló un estudio de alcance correlacional con un enfoque cuantitativo, dirigido a una población compuesta por 137 colaboradores, utilizando el estadístico Chi-cuadrado, las correspondencias simples y la normalización simétrica a través del software SPSS® versión 26.0. Entre los resultados más relevantes, se destaca que la formación académica y las áreas de gestión a las que pertenecen los colaboradores guardan relaciones importantes con el nivel de decisión de los líderes, su compromiso en la toma de decisiones y la confianza en los subalternos. Se concluye que la caracterización de los diferentes estilos de liderazgo contribuirá a la perdurabilidad empresarial a través de los procesos gerenciales dentro de las organizaciones. <abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT The objective of this research is to identify the relationship between strategic leadership styles and their role as determinants for market sustainability, based on the perception of employees in a service sector organization in Colombia. A quantitative correlational study was conducted among a population of 137 employees, using Chi-square statistics, simple correspondences, and symmetric normalization through SPSS® software version 26.0. Findings highlight that academic training and management areas where employees work are closely related to their leaders' level of decision-making, their commitment to decision-making, and trust in subordinates. It is concluded that characterizing different leadership styles will contribute to business sustainability through managerial processes within organizations.  JEL CLASSIFICATION L21, M12, M21. <abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[RESUMO O objetivo desta pesquisa é identificar a relação entre os estilos de liderança estratégica e seu papel como determinantes da sustentabilidade do mercado, com base na percepção dos funcionários de uma organização do setor de serviços na Colômbia. Foi realizado um estudo quantitativo correlacional em uma população de 137 funcionários, usando estatísticas de qui-quadrado, correspondências simples e normalização simétrica por meio do software SPSS® versão 26.0. Os resultados destacam que a formação acadêmica e as áreas de gestão em que os funcionários trabalham estão intimamente relacionadas ao nível de tomada de decisão de seus líderes, seu compromisso com a tomada de decisão e a confiança nos subordinados. Conclui-se que a caracterização de diferentes estilos de liderança contribuirá para a sustentabilidade dos negócios por meio de processos gerenciais dentro das organizações.
