Esta revisión se centra en la autoevaluación del aprendizaje, la formación integral y la relación entre ellas; su objetivo es presentar los avances y las tendencias de discusión sobre la temática a partir de la sistematización y la integración de referentes teóricos y resultados de diferentes estudios. De esta forma, se evidencia una evolución en la comprensión de los conceptos indagados y en las perspectivas de las investigaciones, en las cuales la autoevaluación es esencial, como parte del enfoque de la evaluación para el aprendizaje.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This article presents a bibliographic review derived from the research &#8220;The self-assessment of learning as part of the integral formation of students in the undergraduate programs of the Faculty of Medicine of the Universidad de Antioquia&#8221;. This review focuses on the self-assessment of learning, integral formation and the relationship between them; its objective is to present the advances and trends of discussion on the subject from the systematization and integration of theoretical references and the results of different studies. In this way, an evolution is evident in the understanding of the investigated concepts and the perspectives of the research that address them, in which self-assessment is essential, as part of the assessment approach for learning.]]></p></abstract>
