En este sentido, es necesario romper la dicotomía entre estas funciones, considerándolas indisociables en la vida escolar cotidiana. Así, el estudio investigó las percepciones de profesoras de Educación Infantil y de auxiliares de cuidado diario (acd) sobre las funciones de educación y cuidado en niños con edades entre dieciocho meses y tres años. En este estudio participaron profesionales de tres centros de educación infantil; veinticinco de ellas respondieron a un cuestionario, que se usó como instrumento de investigación. Los informes de las profesoras y de acd sugieren conocimientos sobre la legislación brasileña en el área de Educación Infantil. Sin embargo, las participantes no mencionan aspectos como la importancia de realizar juegos con intención pedagógica. De esta forma, el estudio señala la relevancia de este tema en la formación docente.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This research article explores the intertwined nature of caring and educating within Early Childhood Education, arguing for the necessity to move beyond the dichotomy and view these roles as inseparable in everyday school routines. The study investigates the perceptions of early childhood education teachers and daily care assistants (dcas) regarding their roles in educating and caring for children aged 18 months to 3 years. Twenty-five professionals from three early childhood education centers participated, responding to an online questionnaire as the research tool. Findings indicate that while teachers are knowledgeable about Brazilian legislation on Early Childhood Education, they often overlook the significance of designing games with pedagogical intentions. Therefore, the study underscores the need for emphasizing this aspect within teacher training programs.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo Este artigo de pesquisa explora a natureza entrelaçada de cuidar e educar na Educação Infantil, argumentando pela necessidade de ir além da dicotomia e ver esses papéis como inseparáveis na rotina escolar cotidiana. Assim sendo, o estudo pesquisou as percepções de professoras da educação infantil e de auxiliares de cuidados diários (acd) sobre seus papéis na educação e no cuidado das crianças na faixa etária compreendida entre 18 meses e 3 anos de idade. Vinte e cinco profissionais de três centros de educação infantil participaram, respondendo a um questionário online como ferramenta de pesquisa. Os resultados indicam que, embora os professores tenham conhecimento sobre a legislação brasileira em Educação Infantil, muitas vezes omitem a importância de desenvolver brincadeiras com propósitos pedagógicos. Portanto, o estudo sublinha a necessidade de enfatizar esse aspecto na formação docente.]]></p></abstract>
