Para tanto, utiliza-se como metodologia uma pesquisa bibliográfica sobre a teoria freireana, a compreender suas contribuições ao trabalho educativo com jovens e adultos em processo de alfabetização. Por meio de uma pesquisa-ação na modalidade EJA, desenvolveram-se atividades a partir de um tema do cotidiano dos alunos, a trabalhar com conteúdos que se relacionem com as práticas sociais dos educandos. Os resultados demonstram que a teoria de Paulo Freire: i) contribui na formação do homem, como ser social e participante na sociedade; ii) possibilita a aprendizagem mais efetiva e abrangente, no que se refere às necessidades sociais dos educandos jovens e adultos; iii) evidencia a importância do trabalho pedagógico adequado destinado à modalidade investigada.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The main objective of this article is to reflect on the contribution of Paulo Freire&#8217;s theory to Youth and Adult Education, especially with regard to educational practices and the teaching and learning process carried out in this modality. For that, we used as a methodology, a bibliographical research about the Freirean theory, where we seek to understand the contributions of Paulo Freire in the educational work with young people and adults in the literacy process, and also in the field, in which we develop activities based on a theme of daily life of students, considering the importance of working with meaningful content that is related to the daily activities of students, as well as their reality. After the research, we found that Paulo Freire&#8217;s theory has an important implication for the educational practice in Youth and Adult Education, because it encompasses the formation of man, as a social being and participant in society, contributing to a more effective and comprehensive learning, especially with regard to the real needs of young and adult students, highlighting the importance of a methodology that is properly designed for the sport.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen El principal objetivo de este artículo es reflexionar sobre el aporte de la teoría de Paulo Freire a la Educación de Jóvenes y Adultos, especialmente en lo que respecta a las prácticas educativas y el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje que se lleva a cabo en esta modalidad. Para ello, utilizamos como metodología, una investigación bibliográfica sobre la teoría freireana, donde buscamos comprender los aportes de Paulo Freire en la labor educativa con jóvenes y adultos en el proceso de alfabetización, y también en el campo, en el que trabajamos. Desarrollar actividades basadas en una temática de la vida diaria de los estudiantes, considerando la importancia de trabajar con contenidos significativos que se relacionen con las actividades diarias de los estudiantes, así como con su realidad. Luego de la investigación, encontramos que la teoría de Paulo Freire tiene una implicación importante para la práctica educativa en la Educación de Jóvenes y Adultos, porque engloba la formación del hombre, como ser social y participante de la sociedad, contribuyendo a un aprendizaje más efectivo e integral, especialmente en lo que respecta a las necesidades reales de los estudiantes jóvenes y adultos, destacando la importancia de una metodología adecuadamente diseñada para el deporte.]]></p></abstract>
