El objetivo es analizar la intención de participación en redes interempresariales, sobre la base del estudio de las fuentes que crean el cs y de los propósitos y beneficios buscados en la articulación, considerándose que el cs constituye un factor explicativo de fenómenos colaborativos. Aplicando la técnica de regresión logística, se evidencia que la variable dependiente (intención de asociatividad) se explica con una fuente de generación de cs (oportunidad) y los propósitos de lograr economías de escala y de capturar externalidades a través de la articulación. Se discuten prácticas de gestión empresarial dirigidas a acumular rentas intangibles (recursos) a través de relaciones interorganizativas, para concluir que la dimensión estructural del cs (oportunidad) resulta imprescindible para la intención de asociatividad, mientras que la motivación y la habilidad serían fuentes deseables. Finalmente, se resalta la importancia de las redes empresariales como mecanismo para el aumento del cs, trasladando el potencial que tiene este concepto al ámbito de la gestión empresarial como fuente de creación de valor y de ventajas competitivas.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT: This work focuses on the notion of business partnership and its incidence in the development of competitive advantages from the perspective of the generation of social capital (sc). The objective is to study the intention of firms to participate in inter-business networks based on the analysis of the sources that create sc and the purposes and benefits sought in this type of business articulation, considering that sc constitutes an explanatory factor for collaborative phenomena. By means of the logistic regression technique, it is found that the dependent variable (partnership intention) is explained by a source of sc generation (opportunity) and the objectives of achieving economies of scale and capturing externalities through articulation. Business management practices aimed at accumulating intangible income (resources) through inter-organizational relationships are discussed, which allows concluding that the structural dimension of sc (opportunity) is essential for the intention of associativity, while motivation and ability would be desirable sources. Finally, the importance of business networks as a mechanism for increasing sc is remarked, transferring the potential of this concept to the field of business management as a source for the creation of value and competitive advantages.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[RESUMEN: Este trabalho se foca na noção de &#8220;associatividade empresarial&#8221; e sua incidência no desenvolvimento de vantagens competitivas, analisada sob a perspectiva da geração de capital social (cs). O objetivo é analisar a intenção de participação em redes interempresariais, com base no estudo das fontes que criam o cs e nos propósitos e benefícios buscados na articulação, considerando-se que o cs constitui um fator explicativo de fenômenos colaborativos. Aplicando a técnica de regressão logística, evidencia-se que a variável dependente (intenção de associatividade) é explicada com uma fonte de geração de cs (oportunidade) e os propósitos de conseguir economias de escala e de capturar externalidades por meio da articulação. L&#8217;objectif est d&#8217;analyser l&#8217;intention de participer aux réseaux inter-entreprises, à partir de l&#8217;étude des sources qui créent le cs et des finalités et bénéfices recherchés dans l&#8217;articulation, en considérant que le cs constitue un facteur explicatif des phénomènes collaboratifs. En appliquant la technique de régression logistique, il est évident que la variable dépendante (intention d&#8217;associativité) s&#8217;explique par une source de génération de cs (opportunité) et les objectifs de réaliser des économies d&#8217;échelle ainsi que de saisir les externalités par l&#8217;articulation. On discute les pratiques de gestion d&#8217;entreprise visant à accumuler des revenus (ressources) intangibles par le biais de relations inter-organisationnelles, pour conclure que la dimension structurelle du cs (opportunité) est essentielle pour l&#8217;intention d&#8217;association, alors que la motivation et la capacité seraient des sources souhaitables.
