Por ello, el objetivo de esta investigación fue analizar la influencia de los estilos de liderazgo de los millennials en el desempeño de las pequeñas empresas del sector textil manufactura de Lima Metropolitana. La investigación es cuantitativa, no experimental, transversal y causal. La muestra estuvo conformada por 400 administradores, empresarios y gerentes millennials. Los datos obtenidos fueron analizados mediante la estimación de mínimos cuadrados parciales (pLs). Para medir la fiabilidad del instrumento, se utilizó el alpha de Cronbach: estilos de liderazgo (0,718) y desempeño (0,806). Los resultados sugieren que los estilos de liderazgo tienen una influencia en el desempeño de las pequeñas empresas; los estilos que mejor resultado generan son el transformacional y el pasivo, mientras que el transaccional tiene un desempeño negativo. Finalmente, las empresas que buscan un mejor desempeño pueden utilizar esta investigación para identificar el estilo de liderazgo que debe de tener la persona que toma las decisiones.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT: Leadership styles impact the performance and competitiveness of organizations. However, little has been studied about the leadership style of millennials. Therefore, the objective of this research was to analyze the influence of leadership styles exerted by millennials on the performance of small companies in the textile manufacturing sector of Metropolitan Lima. The research is quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional, and causal, with a sample consisting of 400 millennial administrators, businesspeople, and managers. The data obtained were analyzed by partial least squares (PLS) estimation. To measure the reliability of the implemented instrument, Cronbach's alpha was used: leadership styles (0.718) and performance (0.806). Our results suggest that leadership styles have an influence on the performance of small companies and that the styles with the best results are those of the transformational and passive type, while transactional leadership has a negative performance. Companies looking for better organizational results could make use of this research to identify the most suitable leadership style that decision makers should embrace.]]></p></abstract>

Por isso, o objetivo desta pesquisa é analisar a influência dos estilos de liderança dos millennials no desempenho das pequenas empresas do setor têxtil manufatureiro de Lima Metropolitana. A pesquisa é quantitativa, não experimental, transversal e causal. A amostra foi conformada por 400 administradores, empresários e gerentes millennials. Os dados obtidos foram analisados mediante a estimativa de mínimos quadrados parciais (PLS). Para medir a confiabilidade do instrumento, foi utilizado o alfa de Cronbach: estilos de liderança (0,718) e desempenho (0,806). Os resultados sugerem que os estilos de liderança tenham uma influência no desempenho das pequenas empresas; os estilos que geram melhor resultado são o transformacional e o passivo, enquanto o transacional tem um desempenho negativo. Finalmente, as empresas que buscam melhor resultado podem utilizar esta pesquisa para identificar o estilo de liderança que a pessoa que toma as decisões deve ter.]]></p></abstract>

L'objectif de cette recherche était donc d'analyser l'influence des styles de leadership des milléniaux sur les performances des petites entreprises du secteur de la fabrication textile dans la région métropolitaine de Lima. La recherche est quantitative, non expérimentale, transversale et causale. L'échantillon était composé de 400 administrateurs, entrepreneurs et gestionnaires milléniaux. Les données obtenues ont été analysées à l'aide d'une estimation par moindres carrés partiels (PLS). On a utilisé le coefficient alpha de Cronbach pour mesurer la fiabilité de l'instrument : styles de leadership (0,718) et performances (0,806). Les résultats suggèrent que les styles de leadership ont une influence sur les performances des petites entreprises ; les styles les plus performants sont le style transformationnel et le style passif, tandis que les styles transactionnels ont une performance négative. Enfin, les entreprises qui cherchent à améliorer leurs performances peuvent utiliser cette recherche pour identifier le style de leadership du décideur.]]></p></abstract>
