Se utilizaron técnicas cualitativas como la entrevista a profundidad y técnicas cuantitativas como la encuesta. La información fue tratada a través del análisis factorial exploratorio. Los resultados de esta investigación demuestran que el estilo de liderazgo de mayor presencia en el grupo de comandantes analizados es el transaccional, y factores como el trabajo en equipo, la comunicación y la motivación influyen en la moral combativa de sus subalternos.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The purpose of this article is to determine the type of military leadership predominating in the Second Division of the National Army of Colombia and its relationship with combative morale. Qualitative techniques such as the in-depth interview and quantitative techniques such as the survey were used. The information was processed through an exploratory factor analysis. The results of this research show that the prevailing leadership style in the analyzed group of commanders is the transactional type and that factors such as teamwork, communication and motivation influence the combative morale of their subordinates.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo O propósito deste artigo é determinar o tipo de liderança militar que predomina na Segunda Divisão do Exército da Colômbia e sua relação com a moral combativa. Foram utilizadas técnicas qualitativas como a entrevista a profundidade e técnicas quantitativas como o questionário. A informação foi tratada por meio da análise fatorial exploratória.
