La metodología aplicada se compone de dos guías que permiten analizar estos dos factores ambientales con base en las normas emitidas por la Secretaría de Trabajo y Previsión Social, la NOM-011-STPS-2001 y la NOM-015-STPS-2001. En los resultados de contaminación acústica se observó que el mayor riesgo que se presenta es el ruido impulsivo que se genera por la llegada de los camiones de basura con 98.1 dB, seguido del trozado de vidrios 95.6 dB y la caída de objetos metálicos 93.5 dB. En el estudio del calor se analizó que en el mes de abril un 70% sufrió de golpe de calor, quemaduras en la piel 100%, irritabilidad 77%, calambres 60 %, agotamiento 87 %, sudoración 100 %, dolor de cabeza 52 %, mareos 35 %, deshidratación 33 %, visión borrosa 15 % y náuseas el 41 %, en este mes las temperaturas oscilaron entre 32 °C y 38 °C, y el nivel de riesgo identificado en la tabla de sensación térmica fue alto y moderado. Se recomienda reducir el tiempo de exposición, incrementar los horarios de descanso y aplicar medidas organizativas, así como descargar aplicaciones que monitorean a los factores ambientales para desarrollar una cultura de autocuidado, utilizar equipo de protección personal adecuado para reducir los efectos como tapones y utilizar ropa inteligente con sensores térmicos que se activan y controlan por bluetooth para mantener al usuario cómodo y fresco.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: This research aims to analyze and evaluate two physical environmental factors-noise and heat-and their impact on the work performance of 54 recyclers working at an open-air landfill in Huajuapan de León, Oaxaca.The methodologyapplied includes two guides that facilitate the analysis of these environmental factors according to standards issued by the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare: NOM-011-STPS-2001 and NOM-015-STPS-2001. In examining noise pollution, results indicate that the highest risk comes from impulsive noise, with levels reaching 98.1 dB due to the arrival of garbage trucks, followed by broken glass at 95.5 dB, and falling metal objects at 93.5 dB. In the heat study, data from April show that 70 % of participants experienced heat stroke, 100 % skin burns, 77 % irritability, 50 % cramps, 87 % exhaustion, 100 % sweating, 52 % headache, 35 % dizziness, 33 % dehydration, 15 % blurred vision, and 41 % nausea. During this month, temperatures ranged from 32°Cto 38°C, with risk levels on the thermal sensation table rated as high and moderate. Recommendations include reducing exposure time, increasing rest periods, implementing organizational measures, and utilizing apps to monitor environmental factors for self-care. Additionally, the use of personal protective equipment, such as earplugs, and smart clothing with thermal sensors controlled via Bluetooth is suggested to help maintain user comfort and reduce the effects of environmental stressors.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo: O objetivo da pesquisa é analisar e avaliar dois fatores ambientais físicos; ruído e calor, bem como o impacto no desempenho laboral de uma amostra de 54 recicladores de um aterro a céu aberto em Huajuapan de León, Oaxaca. A metodologia aplicada é composta por dois guias que permitem analisar estes dois fatores ambientais com base nas normas emitidas pelo Ministério do Trabalho e Assistência Social, NOM-011-STPS-2001 e NOM-015-STPS-2001. Nos resultados da poluição sonora, observou-se que o maior risco que surge é o ruído impulsivo gerado pela chegada de caminhões de lixo com 98,1 dB, seguido da quebra de vidros 95,6 dB e da queda de objetos metálicos 93,5 dB. No estudo do calor, foi analisado que, no mês de abril, 70 % sofreram insolação, queimaduras na pele 100 %, irritabilidade 77 %, cólicas 60 %, exaustão 87 %, sudorese 100 %, dor de cabeça 52 %, tontura 35 %, desidratação 33 %, visão turva 15 % e náuseas 41 %, neste mês as temperaturas variaram entre 32°C e 38°C e o nível de risco identificado na tabela de sensação térmica foi alto e moderado. Recomenda-se reduzir o tempo de exposição, aumentar as horas de descanso e aplicar medidas organizacionais, bem como baixar aplicativos que monitorem os fatores ambientais para desenvolver uma cultura de autocuidado, utilizar equipamentos de proteção individual adequados para reduzir os efeitos, como plugues e usar roupas de proteção inteligente com sensores térmicos que são ativados e controlados por Bluetooth para manter o usuário confortável e fresco.]]></p></abstract>
