Se pretende analizar cómo la IA promueve valores y representaciones de género en las narraciones creadas para la infancia. Mediante una metodología exploratoria y cualitativa, se contrastan las narrativas generadas por dos aplicaciones disponibles en la plataforma Product Hunter, que emplean IA, con cuatro modelos de Large Language Models, a partir de un mismo prompt. Los resultados muestran que la IA se configura como una herramienta poderosa para promover narrativas no sexistas e inclusivas y generar relatos para la infancia que desafíen estereotipos y promuevan representaciones diversas de género. No obstante, se concluye que se hace necesaria la colaboración entre desarrolladores de IA, especialistas en literatura infantil y estudiosos de género para formar una generación más consciente y tolerante con la diversidad.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract With the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI), its diverse applications across a range of sectors-including the production of children's literature-have become increasingly evident. This study examines how AI can promote values and gender representations in narratives designed for young audiences. Employing an exploratory, qualitative methodology, it compares stories generated by two AI-driven applications, available on the Product Hunt platform, with those produced by four large language models, each responding to the same prompt. The findings indicate that AI is emerging as a powerful tool not only for fostering non-sexist and inclusive narratives but also for challenging stereotypes and encouraging a wide spectrum of gender representations. However, the study concludes that collaboration between AI developers, children's literature experts, and gender studies scholars is essential to ensure the development of generations more conscious of and receptive to diversity.]]></p></abstract>
