Para isso, por meio de uma breve introdução aos estudos culturais da infância na América Latina, as humanidades digitais, a análise do discurso digital e os estudos de plataforma, introduzimos o estudo dos videogames e dos tecnodiscursos em torno da infância neles. Tendo como objetivo estudar as experiências de crianças e adolescentes no âmbito digital, a partir de uma seleção de vídeos e posts em plataformas como TikTok e Youtube, analisamos os discursos em torno da infância e sua presença na plataforma de jogos Roblox, como espaço que oferece possibilidades para estudar a participação das infâncias na construção de sentidos sobre o ser criança no entorno digital, e rastreamos as transformações e permanências nas formas de conceber as culturas infantis que ali emergem.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract Informed by theoretical and methodological frameworks from Latin American cultural studies of childhood, digital humanities, and digital platform studies, this analysis examines the techno-discursive formations that shape and reshape conceptions of childhood within video game environments. Beginning with a concise overview of cultural studies of childhood in Latin America, digital humanities, digital discourse analysis, and platform studies, it establishes the groundwork for exploring the techno-discourses circulating through video games. Focusing on the experiences of children and adolescents in digital contexts and drawing on examples from TikTok and YouTube, the discussion then moves to the Roblox gaming platform as a key site for investigating how children participate in constructing the meanings of being a child online. Through this lens, it becomes possible to trace both the transformations and continuities in prevailing understandings of childhood that emerge within these digital spaces.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen Este artículo enlaza las perspectivas teórico-metodológicas de los estudios culturales de la infancia en América Latina, las humanidades digitales y los estudios de plataformas digitales, con el fin de examinar formaciones tecnodiscursivas en entornos digitales en los que se construyen y reconstruyen significados sobre las infancias en los videojuegos. Para ello, a través de una breve introducción a los estudios culturales de la infancia en América Latina, las humanidades digitales, el análisis del discurso digital y los estudios de plataformas, introducimos el estudio de los videojuegos y los tecnodiscursos en torno a la infancia en ellos. Con el objetivo de estudiar las experiencias de niños y adolescentes en el ámbito digital, a partir de una selección de videos y publicaciones en plataformas como TikTok y YouTube, analizamos los discursos en torno a la infancia y su presencia en la plataforma de juegos Roblox, como un espacio que ofrece posibilidades para estudiar la participación de las infancias en la construcción de significados sobre ser niño en el entorno digital, y rastreamos las transformaciones y permanencias en los modelos de concebir las infancias.]]></p></abstract>
