Originalidad/aporte: el aporte de este estudio de re visión consiste en presentar un escenario mundial, lo más completo posible, de las tendencias actuales respecto a la utilización de la IA para hacer investigación.  Metodología: se lleva a cabo una investigación docu mental a partir de la revisión sistemática cualitativa, que da cuenta de los principales usos actuales de la inteligencia artificial en investigación científica.  Estrategias de recolección de información: el punto de referencia para esta revisión documental se llevó a cabo desde lo cronológico, a través de: 1. Arqueo de fuentes: selec cionando referentes que desarrollan el tema; 2. Revisión: en la cual se depuran los referentes teóricos más relevantes; 3. Cotejo: comparación y organización de las fuentes seleccionadas mediante fichas y matriz de autores; 4. Interpretación: mediante análisis de los principales referentes teóricos; 5. Conclusiones: se muestran los aspectos más relevantes de la temática.  Conclusión: los investigadores deben aprender no solo a utilizar la inteligencia artificial, sino también a hacerlo de manera responsable y ética considerando los impactos sociales que puedan generar los resultados de sus investigaciones a través de IA.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract  Objective: To show the current uses and possibilities of artificial intelligence in scientific research, aiming to shed light on emerging practices.  Originality/contribution: The contribution of this review study lies in presenting a comprehensive global overview of current trends in the utilization of AI for re search purposes.  Methodology: A qualitative systematic review is conducted through documentary re search, highlighting the primary current uses of artificial intelligence in scientific research.  Information gathering strategies: The chronological reference point for this doc umentary review was established through: 1. Source survey: selecting key sources that delve into the topic; 2. Theoretical review: identifying the most relevant sources; 3. Com parison: Comparing and organizing selected sources using cards and author matrices; 4. Interpretation: Analyzing the main theoretical references; 5. Conclusions: Highlighting the most significant aspects of the subject.  Conclusion: Researchers must not only learn how to use artificial intelligence but also do so responsibly and ethically, considering the social impacts that may arise from the results of their AI-supported research.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo  Objetivo: mostrar as utilizações e possibilidades actuais da inteligência artificial na in vestigação científica, de modo a fornecer uma visão das práticas emergentes.  Originalidade/suporte: a contribuição deste estudo de revisão é apresentar um cenário global, tão completo quanto possível, das tendências actuais na utilização da IA na investigação.  Metodo: é realizada uma investigação documental com base numa revisão sistemática qualitativa, que dá conta das principais utilizações actuais da inteligência artificial na inves tigação científica.  Estratégias de recolha de datos: o ponto de referência para esta análise documental foi realizado de forma cronológica, através de: 1. Mapeamento de fontes: seleção de referências que desenvolvem o tema; 2. Revisão: em que se depuram as referências teóricas mais relevantes; 3.  Conclusão: os investigadores devem aprender não só a utilizar a inteligência artificial, mas também a lazê-lo de forma responsável e ética, considerando os impactos sociais que os resultados da sua investigação através da IA podem gerar.]]></p></abstract>
