Diversos autores han señalado cómo el mundo del trabajo ha sufrido importantes transformaciones que suponen un avance en la precarización, casualización e intermitencia en el ámbito laboral. Los creadores en redes sociales se presentan como ejemplos de este nuevo mundo del trabajo, en el que se ensalza la flexibilidad y la búsqueda de la realización personal como sustituto a la remuneración económica. El presente artículo quiere responder a las siguientes preguntas: ¿cómo representan los creadores de contenido digitales y los medios de comunicación tradicionales su actividad profesional?; ¿cómo se relacionan estos discursos con los imaginarios laborales contemporáneos? Para ello, se analiza cualitativamente una muestra de cuarenta videos publicados entre 2015 y 2022 en los que once creadores de contenido españoles hablan explícitamente sobre su trabajo. A través de un análisis cualitativo temático, se han identificado patrones recurrentes de significado. El análisis muestra que si bien inicialmente los creadores de contenido hablan de su labor a través de discursos entusiastas que subrayan su &#8220;pasión por el trabajo&#8221;, en los últimos años encontramos discursos más contradictorios. Los creadores hablan abiertamente sobre el coste de su trabajo, caracterizado por la intensificación, la confusión entre vida personal y profesional y el trabajo emocional.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This article aims to discuss the discourses of content creators on social media (YouTubers, streamers, Instagrammers, influencers) about their jobs to understand how they personify, connect with, and help build contemporary labor imaginaries. Various authors have pointed out how the world of work has undergone essential transformations that advance precariousness, casualization, and intermittence in the workplace. Creators in social media are examples of this new working world, in which flexibility and the search for personal fulfillment are extolled as a substitute for remuneration. This article intends to answer the following questions: How do digital content creators and traditional media depict their professional activity? How are these discourses related to contemporary labor imaginaries? A sample of forty videos posted between 2015 and 2022 in which eleven Spanish content creators explicitly talk about their work is qualitatively analyzed. Recurring patterns of meaning are identified through a thematic qualitative analysis. The analysis shows that although content creators initially talked about their work using enthusiastic speeches that underline their &#8220;passion for work,&#8221; there are more contradictory speeches in recent years. Creators speak openly about the cost of their jobs, characterized by intensification, confusion between personal and professional lives, and the emotional toll.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo O objetivo deste artigo é analisar os discursos dos criadores de conteúdo em redes sociais (youtubers, streamers, instagramers, influencers) sobre seu trabalho para entender como personificam, conectam e ajudam a construir os imaginários profissionais contemporâneos. Diversos autores indicaram como o mundo do trabalho vem sofrendo importantes transformações que supõem um avanço na precarização, casualização e intermitência no contexto profissional. Os criadores em redes sociais são apresentados como exemplos desse novo mundo do trabalho, em que se juntam a flexibilidade e a busca da realização pessoal como substitutos da remuneração econômica. Este artigo pretende responder às seguintes perguntas: como os criadores de conteúdos digitais e os meios de comunicação representam sua atividade profissional? e como esses discursos são relacionados com os imaginários profissionais contemporâneos? Para isso, é analisada qualitativamente uma amostra de 40 vídeos publicados entre 2015 e 2022 nos quais 11 criadores de conteúdo espanhóis falam explicitamente sobre seu trabalho. Por meio de uma análise qualitativa temática, são identificados padrões recorrentes de significado. A análise mostra que, embora inicialmente os criadores de conteúdo tenham falado de seu trabalho mediante discursos entusiastas, que desatacam sua &#8220;paixão pelo trabalho&#8221;, nos últimos anos, encontramos discursos mais contraditórios. Os criadores falam abertamente sobre o custo de seu trabalho, caracterizado pela intensificação, a confusão entre vida pessoal e profissional, e o trabalho emocional.]]></p></abstract>
