<self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.co/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S0122-97612023000200125&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.co/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&amp;pid=S0122-97612023000200125&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.co/scielo.php?script=sci_pdf&amp;pid=S0122-97612023000200125&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT The present work consisted of determining and analyzing the Drivers of Change (DCh) of 24 wetlands of the Peruvian coast from a review of the scientific articles published between 2000 and 2020, with the use of the platforms Science Direct, Google Scholar, Scopus and Scielo. 172 scientific articles were reviewed, identifying 22 DCh. Agriculture, livestock, species introduction and debris accumulation were the most frequent direct DCh, while poor governance was the most common indirect DCh (38 %); the wetland with the highest number of DCh was Los Pantanos de Villa. A positive correlation was verified between the production of scientific articles and the number of DCh identified per wetland. Four groups of wetlands had high similarity in their DCh (&#8805; 50 %), which suggests that the management measures to face these impacts are similar. The co-appearance of DCh was divided into two groups with a similarity &#8805; 50 %. A conceptual model of DCh interactions (identifying key DCh) and their effects on ecological processes was developed. The information from this work can guide measures for better managing these ecosystems on the Peruvian coast.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[RESUMEN El presente trabajo consistió en determinar y analizar los impulsores de cambio (IC) de 24 humedales de la costa peruana a partir de una revisión de artículos científicos publicados entre el año 2000 y 2020. Se emplearon las plataformas Science Direct, Google Académico, Scopus y Scielo para la búsqueda de información. Se revisaron 172 artículos científicos, identificando 22 IC. La agricultura, ganadería, introducción de especies y acumulación de escombros fueron los IC directos más frecuentes, mientras que la mala gobernanza fue el IC indirecto más común (38 %); el humedal con mayor número de IC fueron Los Pantanos de Villa. Se verificó una correlación positiva entre la producción de artículos científicos y el número de IC identificados por humedal. Cuatro grupos de humedales tuvieron alta similitud en sus IC (&#8805; 50 %), lo que sugiere que las medidas de gestión para hacerles frente a estos impactos sean similares. La coaparición de los IC se conformó en dos grupos con una similitud &#8805; 50 %. Se elaboró un modelo conceptual de las interacciones entre IC (identificando IC clave) y sus efectos sobre los procesos ecológicos. La información de este trabajo puede servir como herramienta de gestión para el manejo los ecosistemas en la costa peruana.]]></p></abstract>
