Para ello se hace referencia a los resultados obtenidos en un proyecto de investigación cualitativo realizado con alumnos adultos de tres grupos de Segundo Curso de Nivel Intermedio de Inglés, de las enseñanzas especializadas de idiomas que imparten en España las Escuelas Oficiales de Idiomas. A la vista de los resultados, los estudiantes perciben la actividad abierta con vacío de información como más fácil, posiblemente por parecer más auténtica y similar al tipo de actividades orales que se llevan a cabo en la vida real.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: This paper intends to establish what kind of activity -a role-play or an open activity with an information gap- seems most suitable to develop oral expression in a foreign language class. To do so, the results obtained from a qualitative research project conducted with three groups of adult students learning English as a foreign language are examined. They are second-year students at an intermediate level in the courses offered in Spain by State Language Schools, which are the institutions authorised to teach foreign languages in Spain. According to these results, the open activity with an information gap is perceived as easier, probably because it appears to be more authentic and similar to the kind of oral activities students do in their everyday lives.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="fr"><p><![CDATA[Résumé: Dans cet article on essaie d'établir quel type d'activité est plus approprié pour développer chez les élèves l'expression orale dans une classe de langues : un jeu de rôles ou une activité ouverte avec un manque d'information. Pour cela on fait référence aux résultats obtenus dans un projet qualitatif de recherche réalisé avec des élèves adultes de trois groupes des enseignements spécialisés de langues étrangères dispensés par les Écoles Officielles de Langues en Espagne. Au vu des résultats, les étudiants perçoivent l'activité sans consignes particulières comme étant plus facile, vraisemblablement en raison de son authenticité et de sa ressemblance avec les activités menées dans la vie réelle.]]></p></abstract>
