La presencia de dicho género señala la existencia de un lector inclinado a la lectura por ocio y diversión. De igual forma, la traducción y el papel del traductor como agente cultural también se evidencian en la transformación que hace el propio traductor del contenido que traduce. Por otra parte, el artículo hace referencia a la renovación estética del repertorio que apareció en las publicaciones periódicas y al establecimiento de una interrelación entre culturas distantes.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT The publication of detective stories in Crónica and Chanchito, two magazines with different audiences and objectives, makes evident the dynamics of transfer, reproduction, and renewal of the literary system Colombia. The presence of this genre indicates the existence of a reader inclined to read for leisure and entertainment. Likewise, the manner in which translators transform the content translated reveals the role of the translator as a cultural agent. The article also discusses the aesthetic renewal of the repertoire that appeared in periodicals and the establishment of an interrelation among distant cultures.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[RESUMO A publicação de contos policiais em duas revistas com públicos e prospetos diferentes como Chanchito e Crónica evidencia dinâmicas de transferência, reprodução e renovação do sistema literário na Colômbia. A presença desse gênero indica a existência de um leitor inclinado à leitura por lazer e diversão. Da mesma forma, a tradução e o papel do tradutor como agente cultural são evidenciados na transformação que faz o próprio tradutor do conteúdo que traduz. Por outro lado, este artigo faz referência à renovação estética do repertório que apareceu nas publicações periódicas e ao estabelecimento de uma inter-relação entre culturas distantes.]]></p></abstract>
