Este estudio examinó los desafíos para materializar este derecho mediante enfoques de economía comunitaria campesina, soberanía alimentaria y consideración de condiciones ambientales y sanitarias. La metodología empleada fue el análisis de contenido de entrevistas semiestructuradas a productores agroecológicos en familias rurales del departamento de Santander (Colombia). Los resultados mostraron retos como la dependencia del asistencialismo y obstáculos productivos agrícolas, que resaltan la necesidad de contrarrestar prácticas de mercado tradicionales. Además, se abordaron temas de inversión y apoyo estatal, la capacitación agrícola y la participación comunitaria como factores para lograr la sostenibilidad y autosuficiencia alimentaria, en los que se critica cómo las políticas de mercado habían perpetuado desigualdades y vulnerado este derecho fundamental.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The human right to food has necessitated coordinated actions to ensure adequate, continuous, and sustainable access to nutritious and safe food for all. This study examined the challenges of realizing this right through approaches rooted in peasant community economies, food sovereignty, and the consideration of environmental and health conditions. The methodology was a content analysis of semi-structured interviews conducted with agroecological producers from rural families in the Department of Santander (Colombia). The results highlighted challenges like dependency on welfare programs and agricultural production obstacles, underscoring the need to counteract traditional market practices. Furthermore, the study addressed issues related to investment and state support, agricultural training, and community participation as key factors for achieving food sustainability and self-sufficiency. It also critically evaluated how market policies have perpetuated inequalities and undermined this fundamental right.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo O direito humano à alimentação exige ações coordenadas que garantam o acesso adequado, contínuo e sustentável a alimentos nutritivos e seguros para todos. Neste estudo, foram examinados os desafios à efetivação desse direito por meio de abordagens de economia comunitária camponesa, da soberania alimentar e da consideração das condições ambientais e sanitárias. A metodologia utilizada foi a análise de conteúdo de entrevistas semiestruturadas com produtores agroecológicos em famílias rurais de Santander (Colômbia). Os resultados indicaram desafios como a dependência do assistencialismo e os entraves à produção agrícola, os quais evidenciam a necessidade de enfrentamento das práticas tradicionais de mercado. Além disso, são abordadas questões como o investimento e o apoio estatal, a capacitação agrícola e a participação comunitária, considerados fatores essenciais para alcançar a sustentabilidade e a autos-suficiência alimentar. Critica-se, ainda, o modo como as políticas de mercado têm perpetuado as desigualdades e violado esse direito fundamental.]]></p></abstract>
