Métodos Trata-se de uma pesquisa exploratória, descritiva e transversal, com abordagem quantitativa. O projeto foi aprovado pelo Comitê de Ética e Pesquisa (CEP) da Universidade, sob parecer de No. 805 380.  Resultados Dos participantes, 69,1% concordam que o ensino da bioética deve ser desenvolvido de forma dinâmica, com envolvimento ativo de todos os agentes na formação, e, para 77,9% desses, a discussão de casos concretos é uma estratégia facilitadora da futura atuação profissional.  Conclusão Conclui-se que é necessário fortalecer o ensino da bioética e a utilização de metodologias ativas, a fim de despertar, nos acadêmicos, a análise crítica e reflexiva.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT  Objective To analyze the use of active methodologies in the teaching-learning process of bioethics, from the perspective of the academics of health courses at a public university in Bahia.  Methods This is an exploratory, descriptive and cross-sectional study with a quantitative approach. The project was approved by the Ethics and Research Committee (CEP) of the University, under opinion of No. 805 380.  Results Of the participants, 69.1% agreed that bioethics teaching should be developed dynamically, with active involvement of all agents in the training, and for 77.9% of these, discussion of concrete cases is a facilitative strategy of future professional activity.  Conclusion It is concluded that it is necessary to strengthen the teaching of bioethics and the use of active methodologies, in order to awaken critical and reflexive analysis in academics.]]></p></abstract>

Métodos Se trata de una investigación exploratoria, descriptiva y transversal, con abordaje cuantitativo. El proyecto fue aprobado por el Comité de Ética e Investigación (CEP) de la Universidad, bajo opinión de No. 805 380.  Resultados De los participantes, el 69,1% concuerda que la enseñanza de la bioética debe desarrollarse de forma dinámica, con participación activa de todos los agentes en la formación, y para el 77,9% de ellos la discusión de casos concretos es una estrategia facilitadora de la futura actuación profesional.
