Los Distritos de riego (DR), son un recurso del capital físico creado por el capital social para el desarrollo y aumento de la producción regional; se trata de instituciones que permiten el uso del agua para impulsar la economía. Son resultado directo de la acción antrópica, mediados por el capital humano para el uso continuo de recursos hídricos. Ordenar el territorio alrededor del agua en DR tiene como objetivos el fortalecimiento de instrumentos de monitoreo, el conocimiento de riego y el fomento de acuerdos institucionales enfocados en el desarrollo sostenible en los que se concentren los aportes y propiedades de los capitales natural, humano, social y físico, para salvaguardar la identidad productiva del territorio. Analizar los DR en territorios vistos como sistemas socioecológicos sirve como herramienta efectiva para los tomadores de decisiones, con el propósito de analizar y enfrentar los retos que se presenten en diversos escenarios productivos y ambientales. En este artículo se describe porqué los DR no son sistemas socioecológicos, también se explican sus capitales y su articulación con la política de ordenamiento territorial alrededor del agua.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract Socioecological systems (SES) are a form of territorial analysis to identify needs, causes, flows and interactions to establish focal points of environmental and social sustainability. Irrigation Districts (RD) are a resource of physical capital created by social capital for the development and increase of regional production; These are institutions that allow the use of water to boost the economy. They are a direct result of anthropic action, mediated by human capital for the continuous use of water resources. Organizing the territory around water in the DR has the objectives of strengthening monitoring instruments, knowledge of irrigation and promoting institutional agreements focused on sustainable development in which the contributions and properties of natural, human, and social capital are concentrated. and physical, to save the productive identity of the territory. Analyzing DR in territories seen as socio-ecological systems provides an effective tool for decision makers, with the purpose of analyzing and facing the challenges that arise in various productive and environmental scenarios. Os Distritos de Irrigação (DR) são um recurso de capital físico criado pelo capital social para o desenvolvimento e aumento da produção regional; São instituições que permitem o uso da água para impulsionar a economia. São resultado direto da ação antrópica, mediada pelo capital humano para o uso contínuo dos recursos hídricos. A organização do território em torno da água na RD tem como objectivos fortalecer os instrumentos de monitorização, conhecimento da irrigação e promover acordos institucionais centrados no desenvolvimento sustentável nos quais se concentrem as contribuições e propriedades do capital natural, humano e social. e físico, para salvar a identidade produtiva do território. Les Districts d'Irrigation (DR) sont une ressource de capital physique créé par le capital social pour le développement et l'augmentation de la production régionale ; Ce sont des institutions qui permettent d'utiliser l'eau pour stimuler l'économie. Ils sont le résultat direct de l'action anthropique, médiée par le capital humain pour l'utilisation continue des ressources en eau. L'organisation du territoire autour de l'eau en RD a pour objectifs de renforcer les instruments de suivi, la connaissance de l'irrigation et de promouvoir des accords institutionnels axés sur le développement durable dans lesquels se concentrent les apports et les propriétés du capital naturel, humain et social et physique, pour sauver l'identité productive du territoire. L'analyse de la RD dans les territoires considérés comme des systèmes socio-écologiques constitue un outil efficace pour les décideurs, dans le but d'analyser et de faire face aux défis qui se présentent dans divers scénarios productifs et environnementaux. Cet article décrit pourquoi les RD ne sont pas des systèmes socio-écologiques, et interroge leurs capitaux et leur articulation avec la politique d'aménagement du territoire autour de l'eau.]]></p></abstract>
