La metodología presentada permite el diseño de diferentes tipologías de red de acuerdo con información geográfica de la zona urbano-rural del municipio de Marulanda, localizado en la región de Caldas, Colombia. La conectividad a Internet se entregará a través de una tecnología de telecomunicaciones autogestionable conocida como WiBACK, que admitirá la tecnología futura de comunicación 5G. Así, se comparan las ventajas y desventajas de dos topologías de red y se presenta una proyección de los componentes tecnológicos para la implementación de la red. Los resultados de la investigación diseñarán la hoja de ruta y la evaluación comparativa de los escenarios de expansión de la red de acceso colombiana de banda ancha en escenarios de postconflicto.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: This article validates a design methodology for a wireless telecommunications network to extend rural connectivity in Andean areas of Colombia in the post-conflict framework. The presented methodology allows the design of different types of networks according to geographic information of the urban-rural area of the municipality of Marulanda, located in the region of Caldas, Colombia. Internet connectivity will be delivered through a self-managing telecommunications technology known as WiBACK, which will support future 5G communication technology. Thus, the advantages and disadvantages of two network topologies are compared and a projection of the technological components for the implementation of the network is presented. The results of the research will design the roadmap and the comparative evaluation of the expansion scenarios of the Colombian broadband access network in post-conflict scenarios.]]></p></abstract>
