El objetivo del presente estudio fue analizar el índice de claridad atmosférica en Puno desde enero del 2014 hasta diciembre del 2021, exceptuando el 2016 por ausencia de datos registrados. La radiación solar global se midió con el piranómetro Kipp &amp; Zonen CMP11 del Servicio Nacional de Meteorología e Hidrología - Zonal Puno en diferentes condiciones de cielo: muy soleado, soleado, parcialmente nublado y nublado. Según los resultados, el 39,138 % de los días fueron muy soleados, el 25,636 % soleados, el 34,873 % parcialmente nublados y el 0,313 % nublados, con variaciones en el índice de claridad atmosférica de 0,755-0,990, 0,645-0,754, 0,263-0,644 y 0-0,242, respectivamente, y un promedio de radiación solar global de 6,624 kWh/m2. En conclusión, este índice de claridad atmosférica es óptimo para la observación astronómica, la aviación y la implementación de los sistemas fotovoltaicos orientados a mitigar la contaminación antropogénica en el medio ambiente de la ciudad y la región de Puno.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The atmospheric clarity index is an optical parameter resulting from the relationship between global solar radiation and extraterrestrial solar radiation; it indicates the atmospheric state of an area, its climatic conditions and characteristics, and their change over time. The objective of this study was to analyze the atmospheric clarity index in Puno from January 2014 to December 2021, except in 2016, as there is no recorded data. Global solar radiation was measured using the Kipp &amp; Zonen CMP11 pyranometer of the National Service of Meteorology and Hydrology for the zone of Puno in different sky conditions: very sunny, sunny, partly cloudy, and cloudy. According to the results, 39.138% were very sunny days, 25.636% sunny days, 34.873% partially cloudy, and 0.313% cloudy, with atmospheric clarity index variations between 0.755-0.990, 0.645-0.754, 0.263-0.644 and 0-0.242, respectively, with an average global radiation of 6.624 kWh/m2. This atmospheric clarity index is optimal for studies in astronomy, aviation, and the implementation of photovoltaic systems to mitigate anthropogenic pollution on the environment in the city and region of Puno.]]></p></abstract>
