<self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.co/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S1692-25222020000200087&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.co/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&amp;pid=S1692-25222020000200087&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.co/scielo.php?script=sci_pdf&amp;pid=S1692-25222020000200087&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen Desde la indagación de los referentes conceptuales que intervienen y estructuran los estudios sobre identidad de género y la necesidad de situarlos en el contexto sociocultural, así como de establecer relación con las representaciones colectivas y los lenguajes contemporáneos, se realizó una revisión de los diferentes ejes conceptuales a partir de una exploración de diversas corrientes teóricas. Como hallazgos de la exploración realizada, se pudieron identificar mutaciones de los conceptos, los paradigmas y los flujos de comunicación que se configuran desde la contemporaneidad. Se evidencia la necesidad de repensar las clasificaciones propias de la modernidad, es decir, superar las categorías binarias para entender el género. En este sentido, también hay que tener en cuenta la dimensión comunicativa que implica el género, no como categoría de clasificación de lo humano, sino como proceso sociocultural determinado por las representaciones propias de cada época y por sus elementos comunicativos inherentes. Asimismo, fue posible establecer una relación entre tres categorías que permitieron evidenciar puntos de contacto con los estudios de identidad de género a partir de las representaciones colectivas del territorio, la moda y la identidad, así como desde los condicionamientos socioculturales propios del sujeto de la contemporaneidad. La investigación permitió establecer líneas de análisis para fundamentar la superación de los enfoques taxonómicos y anacrónicos que encasillan de forma binaria la identidad de género. También permitió identificar el territorio como factor clave en la interpretación, la moda como variable directa desde las mentalidades y la identidad como concepto que funciona como condición de posibilidad de la auto y heterorreferencia del sujeto. De esta manera es posible resignificar las prácticas desde su experiencia existencial con el género.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract From the inquire to the conceptual references that intervene and structure the studies on gender identity and the need to locate the, in the social and cultural contexts, as well as from the intention to establish a relationship with the collective representation and the contemporary languages, this study reviewed different conceptual axes through an exploration of diverse theoretical currents. As a finding of this exploration, the study could identify mutations on the concepts, the paradigms and the communication flows that are configured through contemporaneity. The study makes evident the necessity for rethinking the usual classifications of modernity, i.e. overcome the binary categories for understanding gender. In this sense, it is necessary to take into account the communicative dimension implied by gender, no as a classificatory dimension of the human, but as a social and cultural process determined by the representations of each time and by its inherent communicative elements. Likewise, the study was able to establish a relation between three categories that allowed it to make evident contact points with gender identity studies through the collective representations of the territory, of fashion and identity, as well as from the social and cultural conditionings typical of the contemporary subject. This research allowed the establishment of lines of analysis for basing the overcoming of taxonomical and anachronistic approaches that typify in a binary way the gender identity. It also allowed the identification of territory as a key factor in interpretation, of fashion as a direct variable from the mentalities point of view and identity as a concept that works as a condition of possibility of the self-referentiality and the referentiality of the other in the subject. This way, it is possible to resignify practices from their existential experience with gender.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo A partir do questionamento dos referenciais conceituais que intervêm e estruturam os estudos sobre a identidade de gênero e da necessidade de situá-los no contexto sociocultural, bem como de estabelecer relação com as representações coletivas e com as linguagens contemporâneas, foi realizada uma revisão dos diferentes eixos conceituais com base em uma exploração de diversas correntes teóricas. Como achados da exploração realizada, foi possível identificar transformações dos conceitos, dos paradigmas e dos fluxos de comunicação que são configurados a partir da contemporaneidade. É evidenciada a necessidade de repensar as classificações próprias da modernidade, isto é, superar as categorias binárias para entender o gênero. Nesse sentido, também deve ser considerada a dimensão comunicativa que o gênero implica, não como categoria de classificação do humano, mas como processo sociocultural determinado pelas representações de cada época e por seus elementos comunicativos inerentes. Além disso, foi possível estabelecer uma relação entre as três categorias que permitiram evidenciar pontos de contato com os estudos de identidade de gênero a partir das representações coletivas do território, da moda e da identidade, bem como a partir dos condicionantes socioculturais próprios do sujeito da contemporaneidade. Esta pesquisa permitiu estabelecer linhas de análise para fundamentar a superação das abordagens taxonômicas e anacrônicas que abrangem, de forma binária, a identidade de gênero. Também propiciou identificar o território como fator-chave na interpretação, a moda como variável direta com base nas mentalidades e a identidade como conceito que funciona como condição de possibilidade da auto e da heterorreferência do sujeito. Dessa maneira, é possível ressignificar as práticas sob sua experiência existencial com o gênero.]]></p></abstract>
