<self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.co/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S1692-35612018000100015&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.co/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&amp;pid=S1692-35612018000100015&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.co/scielo.php?script=sci_pdf&amp;pid=S1692-35612018000100015&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[RESUMEN La agricultura migratoria (AM) como direccionador en la dinámica de uso del suelo (US) y cambio de uso del suelo (CUS) en la zona alto-andina colombiana, es evaluada mediante análisis espacial y temporal de patrones del cambio de coberturas vegetales durante los periodos 1989-1999 y 1999-2008; donde se identificó que los procesos de deforestación y fragmentación han sido generados por causas directas relacionadas con la AM (cultivos transitorios de papa, pastizal extensivo) sobre las coberturas de origen natural (bosque alto-andino denso, páramo bajo y humedal natural). En la zona, los US que presentaron mayor área transformada fueron: bosque fragmentado, cobertura de pastizal, cultivo de papa, y los de mayor permanencia pastizal extensivo (79%), páramo bajo (78%) y bosque alto-andino denso (80,9%). Estos US/CUS presentaron una relación directa con factores espaciales como la elevación, pendiente, fertilidad del suelo, temperatura y precipitación, los cuales influyeron en las dinámicas de cambio o permanencia. También, se identificó que fuerzas motrices como: políticas públicas de desarrollo, agricultura intensiva, mejoramiento de infraestructura, organización campesina, apoyo institucional y conflicto armado han dinamizado los procesos de CUS; principalmente los asociados con agricultura tradicional y migratoria; convirtiéndose en conductor directo del CUS en ecosistemas de la franja alto-andina.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[RESUMO A agricultura migratória (AM) como motor da dinâmica do solo (EUA) e a mudança de uso do solo (CUS) na região andina alta Colombiana são avaliadas pela análise espacial e temporal dos padrões de mudanças de cobertura vegetal durante Os períodos 1989-1999 e 1999-2008; Onde foi identificado que os processos de desmatamento e fragmentação foram gerados por causas diretas relacionadas à MA (culturas transitórias de batata, pastagem extensiva) em coberturas de origem natural (floresta densa alta andina, Páramo baixo e zonas húmidas naturais). Na área, os EUA que apresentaram a maior área transformada foram: floresta fragmentada, cobertura de pastagem, cultivo de batata e pastagem extensiva (79%), Paramo baixo (78%) e floresta densa alto- andina (80,9%). Estes US/CUSs tiveram uma relação direta com fatores espaciais, como elevação, inclinação, fertilidade do solo, temperatura e precipitação, que influenciaram a dinâmica de mudança ou permanência. Também foi identificado que as forças motrizes como: políticas de desenvolvimento público, agricultura intensiva, melhoria de infraestrutura, organização camponesa, apoio institucional e conflito armado simplificaram os processos CUS associado à agricultura tradicional e migratória; Tornando-se um motor direto da CUS no ecossistemas da franja Alto-Andina.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT The migratory agriculture (MA) as a direct driver in the dynamics of land use (LU) and land use change (LUC) in the Colombian Andean is evaluated by the spatial and temporal analysis of patterns of change Of cover crops during the periods 1989-1999 and 1999-2008; Where it was identified that the processes of deforestation and fragmentation have been generated by direct causes related to the dominant land uses (monkey potato crop, extensive pastureland) about coverage of natural origin (dense high Andean forest, low Páramo and natural wetland). The LU that presented the largest transformed area were: fragmented forest, pasture cover, potato cultivation, and extensive pasture (79%), low Páramo (78%) and dense Alto Andean forest (80,9%). These LU/LUCs had a direct relationship with spatial factors (elevation, slope, soil fertility, temperature and precipitation), which influenced the dynamics of change or permanence. It was also identified that driving forces such as: public development policies, intensive agriculture, infrastructure improvement, peasant organization, institutional support and armed conflict have streamlined the processes of modification and conversion in the territory mainly those associated with traditional and migratory agriculture; The latter becoming the direct driver of LUC in high Andean ecosystems.]]></p></abstract>
