Este se manifiesta en la participación ciudadana estimulada en diferentes escenarios de interacción social (comunidad, familia, instituciones, cultura). Este artículo propone describir redes y vínculos en contextos relacionales que favorecen el desarrollo de procesos psicosociales para la participación ciudadana de adolescentes en los municipios de Facatativá, Ubaté y Fusagasugá (Cundinamarca, Colombia). Se utilizó un diseño cualitativo y se empleó la técnica de mapeo de redes. Participaron 18 adolescentes. Entre los resultados se destaca el papel multifuncional de la familia, con un mayor número de contactos e interacciones. Además, se observa una mayor densidad en redes comunitarias, caracterizadas por relaciones estrechas y un mayor involucramiento cívico manifiestado en expresiones culturales: actividades artísticas y deportivas, medios para la expresión social y acciones colectivas y comunitarias. Estos contextos relacionales potencian procesos psicosociales en la participación.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract (analytical) During adolescence, a sense of citizenship is constructed through civic participation in a range of settings that facilitate social interactions such as community, family, institutions, and culture. This article describes young people&#8217;s networks and relationships in contexts that generate psychosocial development through adolescent civic participation in the municipalities of Facatativá, Ubaté, and Fusagasugá, in Cundinamarca. This qualitative study used the network mapping technique with the participation of 18 adolescents. Results highlighted the multifunctional role of the family, characterized by an increased number of contacts and interactions. Young people also develop denser community networks that are characterized by close relationships and increased civic engagement. This is manifested through cultural engagement such as artistic and sporting activities, social expression and collective and community actions. These relational contexts enhance the psychosocial processes that are generated through participation.]]></p></abstract>
