Materiales y métodos: se hace un estudio de biología estructural para evaluar cambios en la estructura de las proteínas modeladas con el software Phyre2 y alineamientos de secuencia primaria con Jalview de los homínidos Pongo abelii, Pan troglodytes, Pan paniscus, Gorilla gorílla, Homo sapiens y dos especies usadas en ensayos biológicos como Macaca fascicularis, Macaca mulatta.  Resultados: se encontró que las secuencias primarias de la isoforma 467 presentaron porcentajes de identidad muy altos con T-Coffee 2.0 de 99,57 % de promedio, dentro de su secuencia primaria en el alineamiento por pares y a nivel tridimensional, con el algoritmo Needleman-Wunsch, se encontraron ligeros cambios en la estructura a nivel de los lazos, pero muy conservada entre las especies, lo que también se vio reflejado en valores de desviación estándar de los modelos menor a 5 A.  Conclusiones: Finalmente, no se encontraron cambios significativos a nivel estructural en la proteína con la función proteasa, por lo que para la muestra de homínidos, no hubo cambios evolutivos por lo menos para esta proteína y como perspectiva queda evaluar los otros componentes de la enzima y-secretasa.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract  Introduction. Amyloid plaques are one of the neuropathological markers of Alzheimer's disease, formed by peptide fragments that are deposited, derived from the protease cut of the enzyme y-secretase, of which presenilin-1 is the subunit with the active site, it is possible to investigate at the evolutionary level what happens with this protein in a sample of hominids.  Materials and methods. structural biology study is carried out to evaluate changes in the structure of the proteins modeled with the Phyre2 software and primary sequence alignments with Jalview from the hominids Pongo abelii, Pan troglodytes, Pan paniscus, Gorilla gorilla, Homo sapiens and two species used in biological tests as Macaca fascicularis, Macaca mulatta.  Results. It was found that the primary sequences of isoform 467 presented very high percentages of identity with T-Coffee 2.0 of 99.57 % on average, within its primary sequence in the pairwise alignment and at the three-dimensional level, with the Needleman-Wunsch algorithm, slight changes were found in the structure at the loop level, but very conserved between species, which was also reflected in standard deviation values of the models of less than 5 A.  Conclusions. Finally, no significant changes were found at the structural level in the protein with protease function, so for the hominin sample there were no evolutionary changes, at least for this protein, and in perspective, the other components of the enzyme gamma-secretase remain to evaluate.]]></p></abstract>

Materiais e métodos. é realizado um estudo de biologia estrutural para avaliar alterações na estrutura das proteínas modeladas com o software Phyre2 e alinhamentos de sequências primárias com Jalview dos hominídeos Pongo abelii, Pan troglodytes, Pan paniscus, Gorilla gorilla, Homo sapiens e duas espécies utilizadas em testes biológicos como Macaca fascicularis, Macaca mulatta  Resultados. Verificou-se que as sequências primárias de isoforma 467 apresentavam percentagens muito elevadas de identidade com T-Coffee 2,0 de 99,57 % em média, dentro da sua sequência primária no alinhamento em pares e ao nível tridimensional, com o algoritmo Needleman-Wunsch, foram encontradas ligeiras alterações na estrutura ao nível dos loops, mas muito conservadas entre espécies, o que também se refletiu em valores de desvio padrão dos modelos de menos de 5 A.  Conclusões. Por fim, não foram encontradas alterações significativas a nível estrutural na proteína com função de protease, portanto para a amostra de hominídeos não houve alterações evolutivas, pelo menos para esta proteína, e em perspectiva, os outros componentes da enzima gama-secretase foram eles manter para avaliar.]]></p></abstract>
