En la revisión bibliográfica hubo una selección de los artículos afines para analizar la información, a partir de lo cual se identificó una dispersión de los resultados reportados respecto al valor medio. Se desarrolló un algoritmo para calcular la eficiencia energética máxima teórica, basado en una revisión científica del concepto de eficiencia. El algoritmo se programó y se corrió de acuerdo con la latitud de los reportes, obteniendo valores máximos de eficiencia teórica para cada una de las latitudes reportadas, con diferencias significativas respecto a los datos presentados por los autores. En los artículos estudiados no se identifican metodologías claras para el cálculo de la eficiencia de los seguidores solares. La metodología propuesta puede servir de referencia, ya que la eficiencia real no puede ser mayor que la teórica.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: A standard methodology is proposed in this work to calculate the efficiency of solar trackers for any geographical latitude. A literature review was performed, and related articles were selected. Following an analysis of the information, a dispersion of the reported results with respect to the mean value was identified. An algorithm was developed to calculate theoretical maximum energy efficiency, based on a scientific review of the concept of efficiency. The algorithm was programmed and ran according to the latitude in the reports. Maximum values of theoretical efficiency were obtained for each of the reported latitudes, presenting significant differences regarding the data presented by the authors. No clear methodologies for calculating the efficiency of solar trackers were identified in the articles studied. The proposed methodology be used as a reference, given that the real efficiency cannot be greater than the theoretical.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo: Neste trabalho propõe-se uma metodologia padrão para o cálculo da eficiência de rastreadores solares para qualquer latitude geográfica. Na revisão bibliográfica, foram selecionados artigos afins, procedeu-se uma análise da informação e identificou-se uma dispersão dos resultados descritos no que respeita ao valor da média. Desenvolveu-se um algoritmo para o cálculo da eficiência energética máxima teórica, com base em uma revisão científica do conceito de eficiência. O algoritmo foi programado e executado de acordo com a latitudes dos registros. Valores máximos de eficiência teórica foram obtidos para cada uma das diversas latitudes reportadas, diferenças significativas foram encontradas em relação aos dados apresentados pelos autores. Nos artigos em apreço, não são identificadas metodologias claras para o cálculo da eficiência dos rastreadores solares. A metodologia proposta pode servir de referência, uma vez que a eficiência real não pode ser maior do que a eficiência teórica.]]></p></abstract>
