Diante do grande interesse sobre o assunto, este estudo teve por finalidade revisar a literatura em busca de possíveis relações entre a Proatividade e o PsyCap, apontar associações, diferenças e efeitos negativos decorrentes de níveis elevados de PsyCap e de Proatividade nos indivíduos. Esta revisão compreendeu um período de 20 anos, o que demandou a análise de 208 artigos e seleção de 26 documentos para o estudo. Os resultados apontaram relações entre a Proatividade e os componentes do PsyCap (Autoeficácia, Esperança, Resiliência e Otimismo), uma vez que ambos estão alinhados à positividade, ao desempenho, à persistência e às incertezas ambientais. Também se relacionaram indiretamente por meio de outros construtos como feedback, engajamento, adaptabilidade, felicidade e lideranças. Além das congruências, foram observadas diferenças importantes entre os conceitos. As orientações proativas são revestidas de estratégias, autorregulação, e envolvem o papel ativo do ser humano com intencionalidade, enquanto os componentes do Capital Psicológico aparecem mais associados aos aspectos circunstanciais. Alguns pontos negativos também foram observados, cita-se conflitos entre pessoas consideradas proativas e violência associada a níveis elevados de autoeficácia.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract Proactivity and the components of Psychological Capital (PsyCap) are emerging concepts, defined as positive psychological capabilities, which impact competitiveness and performance, and contribute to the construction of healthier organizations. Given the great interest on the subject, this study aimed to review the literature in search of possible relationships between Proactivity and PsyCap, pointing out associations, differences and negative effects resulting from high levels of PsyCap and Proactivity in individuals.This review comprised a period of 20 years, which required the analysis of 208 articles and the selection of 26 documents for the study. The results showed relationships between Proactivity and the components of PsyCap (Self-efficacy, Hope, Resilience and Optimism), since both are aligned with positivity, performance, persistence and environmental uncertainties. They were also indirectly related through other constructs such as feedback, engagement, adaptability, happiness and leadership. In addition to the congruences, important differences were observed between the concepts. Proactive guidelines are covered with strategies, self-regulation, and involve the active role of the human being with intentionality, while the components of Psychological Capital appear more associated with circumstantial aspects. Some negative points were also observed, such as conflicts between people considered proactive and violence associated with self-efficacy.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen La proactividad y los componentes del Capital Psicológico (PsyCap) son conceptos emergentes, definidos como capacidades psicológicas positivas, que impactan en la competitividad y el desempeño, y contribuyen a la construcción de organizaciones más saludables. Dado el gran interés sobre el tema, este estudio tuvo como objetivo revisar la literatura en busca de posibles relaciones entre Proactividad y PsyCap, para señalar asociaciones, diferencias y efectos negativos resultantes de altos niveles de PsyCap y Proactividad en los individuos. Esta revisión abarcó un período de 20 años, que requirió el análisis de 208 artículos y la selección de 26 documentos para el estudio. Los resultados mostraron relaciones entre la Proactividad y los componentes de PsyCap (Autoeficacia, Esperanza, Resiliencia y Optimismo), ya que ambos están alineados con la positividad, el desempeño, la persistencia y las incertidumbres ambientales. También se relacionaron indirectamente a través de otros constructos como la retroalimentación, el compromiso, la adaptabilidad, la felicidad y el liderazgo. Además de las congruencias, se observaron diferencias importantes entre los conceptos. Los lineamientos proactivos se relacionan con estrategias, autorregulación e involucran el rol activo del ser humano con intencionalidad, mientras que los componentes del Capital Psicológico aparecen más asociados a aspectos circunstanciales. También se observaron algunos puntos negativos, como conflictos entre personas consideradas proactivas y violencia asociada a la autoeficacia.]]></p></abstract>
