Nessa perspectiva, o estudo tem por objetivo identificar a percepção de estudantes da graduação em Enfermagem sobre a simulação realística enquanto estratégia de ensino e aprendizagem.  Materiais e Métodos: Trata-se de estudo descritivo com abordagem quanti-qualitativa, do tipo pesquisa-ação. A pesquisa foi realizada com 37 estudantes da graduação em Enfermagem de uma universidade pública brasileira, no período de fevereiro a maio de 2014.  Resultados: No cenário estudado, a simulação é percebida como uma técnica que permite uma vivência prévia da prática, permitindo aos estudantes refletir sobre os seus futuros contextos de trabalho. Além disso, permite relacionar a teoria e a prática, ajudando na aprendizagem dos conteúdos. Por ser uma estratégia dinâmica e ativa, a simulação promove integração e o desejo de expansão e outras vivências a partir de cenários simulados em outras disciplinas da graduação em Enfermagem.  Discussão: Este estudo possibilitou, ao final, uma reflexão sobre a prática formativa em saúde a partir de uma perspectiva autônoma, considerando esta necessidade no contexto de ensino contemporâneo enquanto necessidade real, reafirmada pela multiplicidade e complexidade dos fenômenos emergentes desta época.  Conclusões: A simulação apresenta-se como uma possibilidade viável e potencialmente significativa no contexto do ensino de graduação em Enfermagem.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract  Introduction: Realistic simulation has been used in health and nursing formation contexts. From this perspective, the study sought to identify the perception of undergraduate nursing students on realistic simulation as a teaching and learning strategy.  Materials and Methods: This was an action research descriptive study with quantitative-qualitative approach. The research was carried out with 37 undergraduate nursing students from a Brazilian public university, from February to May 2014.  Results: In the scenario studied, simulation is perceived as a technique that allows a previous experience of the practice, allowing students to reflect upon their future work contexts. In addition, it permits relating theory and practice, helping in the learning of contents. Given that it is a dynamic and active strategy, simulation promotes integration and the desire for expansion and other experiences from simulated scenarios in other nursing undergraduate disciplines.  Discussion: This study enabled, in the end, a reflection on the training practice in health from an autonomous perspective, considering this need within the context of contemporary teaching as a real necessity, reaffirmed by the multiplicity and complexity of the emerging phenomena of this time.  Conclusions: Simulation introduces itself as a viable and potentially significant possibility within the context of undergraduate nursing education.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen  Introducción: La simulación realista viene siendo utilizada en los contextos formativos en salud y enfermería. En esta perspectiva, el estudio tiene por objetivo identificar la percepción de estudiantes de la graduación en Enfermería sobre la simulación realista como estrategia de enseñanza y aprendizaje.  Materiales y Métodos: Se trata de un estudio descriptivo con abordaje cuanti-cualitativo, del tipo investigación-acción. La investigación fue realizada con 37 estudiantes de graduación en Enfermería de una universidad pública brasileña, en el período de febrero a mayo de 2014.  Resultados: En el escenario estudiado, la simulación es percibida como una técnica que permite una vivencia previa de la práctica, permitiendo a los estudiantes reflexionar sobre sus futuros contextos de trabajo. Además, permite relacionar la teoría y la práctica, ayudando en el aprendizaje de los contenidos. Por ser una estrategia dinámica y activa, la simulación promueve integración y el deseo de expansión y otras vivencias a partir de escenarios simulados en otras disciplinas de graduación en Enfermería.  Discusión: Este estudio posibilitó, al final, una reflexión sobre la práctica formativa en salud a partir de una perspectiva autónoma, considerando esta necesidad en el contexto de la enseñanza contemporánea como necesidad real, reafirmada por la multiplicidad y complejidad de los fenómenos emergentes de esta época.
