Esto no es algo aleatorio ni una simple moda social, sino que es signo del surgimiento de lo que podemos llamar &#8220;una nueva conciencia política&#8221;, porque las nuevas generaciones se ven interpeladas por los problemas sociales, culturales y económicos que las rodean. La educación, cuando es crítica y popular, como la que generan ciertos movimientos sociales, contribuye a gestar esa conciencia política.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract Social movements at school have gained strength since the beginning of the 21st century supported by the resources that social networks allow today. This is not something random or a simple social fashion but is a sign of the emergence of what we can call &#8220;a new political consciousness&#8221;, because the new generations are challenged by the social, cultural, and economic problems that surround them. Education, when it is critical and popular, such as that generated by certain social movements, contributes to developing this political consciousness.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo Os movimentos sociais na escola ganharam força desde o início do século XXI apoiados pelos recursos que as redes sociais permitem hoje. Isso não é algo aleatório ou uma simples moda social, mas é um sinal do surgimento do que podemos chamar de &#8220;uma nova consciência política&#8221;, porque as novas gerações são desafiadas pelos problemas sociais, culturais e econômicos que as cercam. A educação, quando crítica e popular, como a gerada por certos movimentos sociais, contribui para o desenvolvimento dessa consciência política.]]></p></abstract>
