Para la validez del constructo y los criterios, se formuló un cuestionario que integró sentencias asociadas con las variables latentes: acción profesional, competencia social y vocación profesional docente, que se evaluaron con jueces expertos nacionales e internacionales. Posteriormente, se determinó el índice de validez de contenidos; se evaluó el comportamiento de la escala de valoración conceptual y del el instrumento, en una muestra aleatoria, usando análisis factorial confirmatorio. El artículo finaliza con la presentación de la convergencia teórica de los nuevos modelos estructurales que se develan con base en la opción inicial de constructos ajustados a la realidad chilena, de las y los profesores de EMTP que realizan docencia en contextos con altos índices de vulnerabilidad social.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This article gives an account of the stages involved in validating a structural model to address teaching skills and aptitudes among instructors and professors in the field of Secondary Technical Vocational Education (EMPT - Spanish acronym). For the validity of the construct and the criteria, a questionnaire was developed that includes sentences and phrases associated with the latent variables; namely, professional action, social competence and professional teaching vocation. These variables were evaluated with the help of national and international experts. Then, the content validity index was determined, and the behavior of the conceptual assessment scale and the instrument was evaluated in a random sample, using confirmatory factor analysis. The article ends with a look at the theoretical convergence of the new structural models that are revealed, based on the initial choice of constructs adjusted to the reality of EMPT teachers in Chile who work in environments where there is a high degree of social vulnerability.]]></p></abstract>

Para a validade do construto e dos critérios, foi formulado um questionário que integrou sentenças associadas com as variáveis latentes: ação profissional, competência social e vocação profissional docente, que foram avaliadas por acadêmicos especializados nacionais e internacionais. Em seguida, foi determinado o índice de validade de conteúdos e avaliado o comportamento da escala de avaliação conceitual e do instrumento, numa amostra aleatória, em que se usou a análise fatorial confirmatória.
