<self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.co/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S1909-36672019000100001&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.co/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&amp;pid=S1909-36672019000100001&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://www.scielo.org.co/scielo.php?script=sci_pdf&amp;pid=S1909-36672019000100001&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract We present a methodology applied to the monitoring of the slope stability in the rural area in Manizales, by means of the Boussinesq storage slope (HSB) partial differential equation and theoretical information of hydrogeological parameters, such as porosity, hydraulic conductivity, thickness and other data obtained by indirect measurements with geographic information systems such as the angle of the slope, the width of the slope, the profile of the slope and the precipitation information of the nearest weather station. In this work, the HSB equation is solved with the finite differences method implemented in Python, for four days of the EMAS meteorological station report. The result obtained was of the saturation curve and of the safety factor for each day. This methodology can contribute to the monitoring of hillsides located in rural areas as long as the values of the hydrogeological parameters are adjusted and a way of support of the efforts to implement an early warning system against hazard landslides.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen Se presenta una metodología aplicada al monitoreo de estabilidad de taludes en zona rural en Manizales, mediante la ecuación diferencial parcial hillslope-storage Boussinesq (HSB), utilizando información teórica de parámetros hidrogeológicos, como la porosidad, conductividad hidráulica, espesor y otros datos obtenidos a partir de mediciones indirectas con sistema de información geográfica como el ángulo de la pendiente, ancho de la ladera, perfil de la ladera y la precipitación tomada de la estación meteorológica más cercana. En este trabajo la ecuación HSB se resolvió con el método de diferencias finitas empleando el lenguaje de programación de Python, para cuatro días de precipitación reportada por la estación meteorológica EMAS. El resultado que se obtuvo fue la curva de saturación y su factor de seguridad para cada día de registro de la precipitación en cada uno de los escenarios dados, al variar la profundidad a lo largo del perfil de la ladera. Esta metodología puede contribuir con el monitoreo en laderas ubicadas en zonas rurales siempre y cuando se ajusten los valores de los parámetros hidrogeológicos, permitiendo sumar a los esfuerzos que tiene por objeto un sistema de alerta temprano para las amenazas de deslizamientos de suelos.]]></p></abstract>
