La metodología utilizada es la regresión lineal estimando previamente un análisis factorial exploratorio para agrupar las aptitudes personales y sociales de la inteligencia emocional. En los resultados se comprueba que la inteligencia emocional representada en las aptitudes emocionales y sociales influye positivamente sobre las competencias laborales, encontrando que aspectos como el reconocimiento de emociones, el trabajo en equipo, la comunicación, la orientación al logro, la percepción y la negociación son características del individuo que favorecen la formación de competencias afectando el desempeño laboral.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT This article aims at analyzing the influence of emotional intelligence on the development of labor skills, through the application of a survey to 122 graduate students with more than three years of work experience who are holding administrative positions. The methodology used is linear regression previously estimating an exploratory factor analysis to group the personal and social skills of emotional intelligence. In the results it is found that the emotional intelligence displayed in the emotional and social skills positively affects job skills, finding that aspects such as emotion recognition, teamwork, communication, achievement orientation, perception and negotiation are characteristics of the individual that favor the formation of skills affecting job performance.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[RESUMO Este artigo tem como objetivo analisar a influência da inteligência emocional no desenvolvimento das competências profissionais através da aplicação de uma pesquisa com 122 alunos de pós-graduação com mais de três anos de experiência de trabalho e que estão realizando funções administrativas. A metodologia utilizada é a regressão linear que estimou anteriormente uma análise fatorial exploratória para agrupar as competências pessoais e sociais da inteligência emocional. Nos resultados verificou-se que a inteligência emocional exibida nas habilidades emocionais e sociais afeta positivamente as competências profissionais, e que os aspectos como o reconhecimento de emoções, o trabalho em equipe, a comunicação, a orientação para a realização, a percepção e a negociação são características do indivíduo que favorecem a formação de habilidades que afetam o desempenho no trabalho.]]></p></abstract>
