El estudio fue realizado en el área del Bajío mexicano con una muestra de 140 pequeños empresarios. Se efectuó un modelo a través de ecuaciones estructurales utilizando el programa Amos. Los resultados muestran índices de un modelo aceptable tomado de acuerdo con Rigdon (1996). Se reporta una correlación positiva entre las variables estudiadas, con lo cual se demuestra que sí existe una relación entre las competencias del administrador de pequeñas empresas y sus resultados.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT The skills to run a business of small business entrepreneurs, their negotiating skills and their intercultural competence in relation to business results were studied. The study was conducted in the area of the Mexican Bajio with a sample of 140 small entrepreneurs. A model was performed using structural equation using Amos. The results show an acceptable model indexes according to Rigdon (1996). It is shown a positive correlation between these variables so the model demonstrates that there exists a relationship between the competences of the administrator of small businesses and their results.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[RESUMO Estudaram-se as competências para administrar um negócio do empreendedor de pequenas empresas, as suas habilidades de negociação e a sua competência intercultural em relação aos resultados do negócio.
