En este contexto, el artículo analiza cómo se manifiesta la cultura ambiental en estudiantes de negocios y qué variables influyen en su desarrollo.  Objetivo: evaluar la cultura ambiental de estudiantes universitarios de negocios.  Metodología: investigación cuantitativa de tipo explicativo que usa el análisis factorial confirmatorio para el diseño del modelo VARICA con una muestra de 742 estudiantes de negocios.  Resultados principales: se validaron las siguientes hipótesis: 1) el conocimiento ambiental favorece la cultura ambiental, 2) la conducta ambiental explica la cultura ambiental y 3) la responsabilidad social, lo cual indica que estas variables tienen una significancia estadística que corrobora la realización de conductas ambientales y un aumento de la cultura ambiental.  Conclusiones: la singularidad de la investigación radicó en que los sujetos de estudio pertenecen a la escuela de negocios más grande de América Latina, que tiene 18 000 estudiantes.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract Environmental culture in the university environment is a key factor in promoting sustainable practices and greater ecological awareness among future professionals. In this context, this article analyzes how environmental culture manifests itself in business students and what variables influence its development.  Objective: To assess the environmental culture of university business students.  Methodology: It is a quantitative, explanatory research design utilizing confirmatory factor analysis to develop the VARICA Model, based on a sample of 742 business students.  Key findings: The following hypotheses were validated: (i) environmental knowledge favors environmental culture, (ii) environmental behavior explains environmental culture and (iii) social responsibility, which indicate that these variables have a statistical significance that corroborates the realization of promotes environmental behaviors and an increase in environmental culture.  Conclusions: This research is unique because the study subjects are from the largest business school in Latin America, which has 18,000 students.]]></p></abstract>

Neste contexto, este artigo analisa como a cultura ambiental se manifesta em estudantes de administração e quais variáveis influenciam seu desenvolvimento.  Objetivo: avaliar a cultura ambiental de estudantes universitários de administração.  Metodologia: pesquisa explicativa quantitativa que utiliza análise fatorial confirmatória para projetar o modelo VARICA com uma amostra de 742 estudantes de administração.  Resultados: foram validadas as seguintes hipóteses: 1) o conhecimento ambiental favorece a cultura ambiental, 2) o comportamento ambiental explica a cultura ambiental e 3) a responsabilidade social, o que indica que essas variáveis apresentam significância estatística que corrobora a concretização de comportamentos ambientais e o aumento da cultura ambiental.
