Este estudio diseñó una propuesta de transformación cultural orientada hacia la innovación y la efectividad organizacional para Visualiti, una mipyme colombiana del sector de la información y las comunicaciones que permite comparar su realidad con tendencias regionales y globales.  Metodología: se utilizó un enfoque cualitativo, basado en entrevistas, análisis documental y grupos focales, complementado con instrumentos cuantitativos para caracterizar la cultura organizacional.  Resultados principales: Visualiti presenta dos tipos de cultura dominante: adhocrática y de clan, lo que ha impulsado su innovación, pero ha dificultado equilibrar la exploración y la explotación. Este fenómeno, documentado en estudios internacionales sobre ambidestreza organizacional, es un desafío común en empresas de sectores dinámicos. A partir del análisis, se vio que es preciso desarrollar capacidades clave: ambidestreza organizacional, orientación al cliente/mercado y velocidad de innovación.  Conclusiones: se formularon las propuestas de intervención: ajustes al direccionamiento estratégico, rediseño organizacional, desarrollo de líderes y ajustes al sistema de medición. Este estudio aporta una perspectiva novedosa sobre la gestión de la transformación cultural en mipymes latinoamericanas y destaca la necesidad de adaptar modelos organizativos que equilibren la innovación con la efectividad organizacional para garantizar competitividad y sostenibilidad.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract Innovation and organizational effectiveness are essential for business competitiveness.  Objective: This study proposes a cultural transformation framework focused on fostering innovation and organizational effectiveness for Visualiti, a Colombian SME in the information and communications sector, enabling a comparison between its current state and regional and global trends.  Methodology: A qualitative approach was employed, incorporating interviews, document analysis, and focus groups, complemented by quantitative instruments to characterize the organizational culture.  Key findings: Visualiti exhibits two dominant cultural types: adhocracy and clan. While these have driven innovation, they have also created challenges in balancing exploration and exploitation. This phenomenon, widely documented in international studies on organizational ambidexterity, is a common challenge for companies operating in dynamic sectors. Through the analysis, three key capabilities were identified as essential for addressing these challenges: organizational ambidexterity, customer/market orientation, and innovation speed.  Conclusions: The study proposes several interventions, including strategic direction adjustments, organizational redesign, leadership development, and modifications to the measurement system. This research offers a novel perspective on managing cultural transformation in Latin American SMEs, emphasizing the importance of adapting organizational models that balance innovation with effectiveness to ensure long-term competitiveness and sustainability.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo Inovação e eficácia organizacional são essenciais para a competitividade empresarial.  Objetivo: Este estudo desenhou uma proposta de transformação cultural orientada à inovação e à eficácia organizacional para a Visualiti, uma mpme colombiana do setor de informação e comunicação, permitindo comparar sua realidade com tendências regionais e globais.  Metodologia: foi utilizada uma abordagem qualitativa, baseada em entrevistas, análise documental e grupos focais, complementada com instrumentos quantitativos para caracterização da cultura organizacional.  Principais resultados: a Visualiti exibe dois tipos de cultura dominante: ad hocrática e de clã, o que impulsionou sua inovação, mas criou dificuldades em equilibrar exploração e aproveitamento.
