The Journal Desarrollo y Sociedad is a bilingual academic journal (Spanish/English) published by the Department of Economics and CEDE (Centro de Estudios sobre Desarrollo Económico) of the Universidad de los Andes, Colombia. It is one of the oldest academic journals in the country beginning circulation in 1979 (60 issues have been published since that day) and for years now, it has been considered one of the more serious economic journals of Colombia.
