The Colombian Cardiology Review is an official publication of the Colombian Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery Society, emitted bimonthly. Its uninterrupted circulation was initiated in 1985.

The main objective of the review is the publication of the scientific, investigative, academic and administrative activities of the society members, of the medical professionals or of those connected with the health sector, nationals or foreigners, that may be working in the Cardiology field or related sciences. The review publishes original clinical and experimental articles on cardiovascular diseases, reports on medical and surgical therapeutics, child cardiology, cooperative studies, epidemiology, medication studies, diagnostic methods, reports of clinical cases, letters to the editor and editorials, as well as summaries from original investigations presented at the congresses of the Colombian Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery Society.

The Colombian Cardiology Review has a circulation of 2000 issues and is distributed at national and international levels to scientific societies, clinics, hospitals, universities, pharmaceutical laboratories, subscribers, internists and active society members.

The abbreviated title is Rev. Colomb. Cardiol. This may be used in bibliographies, foot notes and bibliographic legends.
