The Revista de Investigacion, Desarrollo e Innovacion, is the science communication journal of the Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia, UPTC, in Duitama. The abbreviation of its title is: rev.investig.desarro.innov, and might be used in references, footnotes, and captions. The journal has a multidisciplinary character and it publishes original dissertations related to these subjects: Design and Engineering, Education and Management. Furthermore, it publishes original research papers, reflection and revision articles, written either in Spanish or in English. The magazine is addressed to students, professors and researchers of the regional, national and international academic community interested in the topics mentioned before.

The journal has a semester periodicity and it publishes two issues per year. The manuscripts reception is permanent and they can be sent at any time of the year.

Authors give their economic rights to the journal, through the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 INTERNACIONAL license for the articles which will be published or communicated in any form or mass media. Documents will be sent to databases and indexing systems for their divulgation, and they will be available on the internet website of the Journal.
