GOMEZ PARDO, Rafael. Towards a political history of writing. []. , 33, pp.245-255. ISSN 0121-7550.

This article shows some of the most common issues studied by the project of a political history of writing, following Roger Chartier and Michael Foucault’s thought. The meaning and scope of the project as well as its significance for the investigation about the uses of writing in the western history are defined in a propedeutic manner taking into account that powers are settled and reproduced in this history and some new subjects (e.g. the author), arises in its social organization.

: writing; political history; authority; book; orality.
