Abstract

AGAZZI, Evandro  and  RENGIFO CASTANEDA, Carlos Adolfo. Philosophy, science and truth. Philosophical dialogue as a method for teaching and learning philosophy. Rev. Guillermo Ockham [online]. 2020, vol.18, n.1, pp.9-18.  Epub Jan 07, 2021. ISSN 1794-192X.  https://doi.org/10.21500/22563202.4769.

In this paper the reflection, the result of research is intended based on philosophical dialogue (as a method), to briefly address some of the most debated problems within philosophy today, such as: the sense of philosophy, truth, scientific objectivity, the problem of rationality in science and human progress. For this purpose, it is expected, on the one hand, to account for different problems of a philosophical nature through the discursive and argumentative nature, innate to the philosophical dialogue; and, on the other hand, to promote dialogue as a method in the teaching and learning processes of philosophy.

Keywords : philosophical dialogue; philosophy; objectivity; truth; realism; science and rationality.
