Abstract

ARIZA GOMEZ, Daniel Enrique. The Body-Trace in the Digital Performance Entitled "10 minutos". Pensam. palabra obra [online]. 2017, n.17, pp.118-124. ISSN 2011-804X.

This paper aims to approach to the concept of "body-trace," which is the core idea of the performance "El Fajadito." This staging is an integral part of a broader scenic creation called "10 Minutos," a digital performance that puts a strain on the body-machine relationship in the setting of an ICU; this merges with three other performances to offer the audience an artistic work as a whole, which is the result of the investigation-creation process entitled "10 Minutos." The discourse of this paper will open to a comprehension of the approach used in "El Fajadito" to think about the body of the victims of anti-personnel mines in Colombia. The "body-trace" shown in this staging as a body in suspension proposes a social and political position towards an understanding of the use of weapons in Colombia that intend to cause pain rather than the death of the victim, and it exhibits a mutilated body as the trace left behind by war.

Keywords : Fajaditos; body-trace; 10 Minutos; digital performance; anti-personnel mines.
