Abstract

MONTERO DE LA ROSA, Oscar David  and  SABOGAL VENEGAS, John Edison. The Struggles of the Ethnic Peoples in the Construction of Peace: Between Resistance, Participation and State Failure. Trab. soc. [online]. 2021, vol.23, n.2, pp.54-76.  Epub Apr 27, 2022. ISSN 2256-5493.  https://doi.org/10.15446/ts.v23n2.90380.

The text aims to propose some reflections about the participation of indigenous and Afro-descendant peoples in the Havana peace process between the FARC-EP and the Colombian State. Developing a critical reconstruction of key moments and dynamics of ethnic participation in the negotiation and its partial advances of the implementation, we identify tensions, proposals, and alternatives that indigenous and Afro-descendant people have positioned for the construction of peace in Colombia. The reflections will revolve around the Ethnic Chapter of the agreement, understood as a proposal by the ethnic peoples for peace from the territories for Buen Vivir and Vivir Sabroso.

Keywords : Afro-descendants; ethnic people; indigenous; peace.
