Abstract

ROMERO LEON, Henry Antonio. Universalist and Relativist Assumptions: A Look to the Contemporary Policy Debate. Pap.polit. [online]. 2011, vol.16, n.1, pp.131-162. ISSN 0122-4409.

This article examines the two fundamental streams on which it has been argued politically. From a review of the assumptions that the underlying communitarianism as universalism is to demonstrate the limits of each one and use that one to the other in a dispute which is not absolve. Who is identified in this written ethics epistemologization is of fundamental importance as a methodological resource for the analysis as introduces the incommensurability as a frame of reference for the attack and defence of the two streams. The article arrives to sketch a structure analysis of the two positions that we have to understand them critically.
