This paper as a result of a qualitative doctoral research on "Inhabit tactics. Memories and forgetfulness, and (re) signification of places contexts return population" in that narrative constructions about the return that made people in the town of El Salado (Bolívar) who after their displacement is investigated they returned to their territory forced to inhabit again a geography marked by violence. The article explores the ways in which memories of life in this population and its return process articulated in narratives that give meaning to these reports, the return, and allow the construction of political claims. Thus, the narrative of return, inspired by theoretical work on memory have produced Elizabeth Jelin, Elsa Blair, Jorge Sempriin and Leonor Arfuch or the ways in which he realizes this process, resulting in the realization of a memory demanding justice and social equity.
