Abstract

This article presents a proposal evaluation matrix for free software automation oriented information units. This matrix is composed of a number of technical parameters that will facilitate the evaluation of different free software applications, which are grouped into four different classifications. Each will filter the different applications that meet either requirement according to the information and automation needs to have the information unit. Thus this matrix becomes a useful tool that will serve the team responsible for the automation of a unit of information in the process of evaluating and selecting free software for this purpose.
