A solution of the previous thing requires radical innovations, locally relevant. Based on a survey this paper presents a reflection about development of innovation capabilities through its articulation with corporative sustainability factors, as well as its probably contribution to the sustainability of social functions given the fact the corporative sector is a part of social systems. One found that as well as diverse authors raise that sustainability is a driving factor of social functions, others report it like an strategy for improving competitiveness level. There is certain consensus about the necessity of systemic approach to the joint of sustainability with innovation activities given the fact the complexity of socio-environmental problems, which implies a collaborative inter-organizational networks made up by the interested actors. Though the last thing eventually would presuppose the development of certain skills in the individuals few authors treat this aspect thoroughly. This may constitute a gap of knowledge. Finally this paper presents an applicative approach to the field of industrial and sustainable use of natural resources.
