This aim of this article is to inquire into the forms and possibilities trough which the traces of the traumatic are insculped in the postdictatorial cinematographic narratives. We analyze the discursive strategies used in the film a Wall of Silence (Un muro de silencio) (1993) by Lita Stantic as an exponent of a "politic of remembrance" which uses what we call "irate memory". This notion implies a subjective form of the collective memory about traumatic events which will be a characteristic of the argentine cinema made by women.
