Abstract

SANJUAN QUILES, Ángela  and  MARTINEZ RIERA, José Ramón. New approach in the learning-training process to interrelate knowledge and clinical and community training. Invest. educ. enferm [online]. 2008, vol.26, n.2, suppl.1, pp.150-159. ISSN 0120-5307.

The aim of this trial is to analyze how knowledge is interrelated, considering teachers, students and nurses. Practice allows experiential learning. Theory and practice have been historically divided and this has a greater importance in nursing. The new European Higher Education Area allows a greater and better interrelation of the clinical thoughtful learning, letting students, teachers and professionals learn throughout their lives and adapt to the community needs. Changes in higher education are made on the basis of new methodological approaches that make possible to face successfully the new teaching-learning situations. Teachers must teach students how to learn. Professionals in the clinical and community training, must carry out a work of development of new concepts and theoretical knowledge from specific situations. They must also integrate and interrelate learning resources. The aims that we expect to achieve within the European Higher Education Area are to increase the students’ autonomy; overcome distance barriers; improve the time to gain access to the learning; achieve a greater interaction and have the opportunity to share the control of the learning activities by interacting within a support and cooperation frame.

Keywords : interaction; coordination; learning-training; clinical practices; European Higher Education Area.
