This study analyzes third grade of middle school graders’ incorrect use of prepositions in their writing assignments at a San Luis Potosí school. The aim is to identify students’ most common errors using prepositions. The analysis of these errors will allow researchers to create a contrastive table that will serve as a teacher’s pedagogical tool. With this tool, a teacher can point out the correct use of the prepositions students often misuse in class.
