Certain reckless behaviours have significant human, social, economic, public health and affect public opinion, justify that safety in the railway environments is interesting for railway companies, public administrations and the whole society. The FFE promotes the initiative Safety Mobility in Railway Environments Programme in Spain. Its main objective is to promote a culture of safety in railway environments through information and awareness by greater social commitment. This program arises from the certainty that education to prevent is a useful tool to promote attitudes and safety behaviors among the population.
