Abstract

ZEPKE, Stephen. TOWARDS A BIO-POLITICS OF THE FUTURE: NIETZSCHE AGAINST THE PRESENT.Translated bySantiago Restrepo,  Mónica Zuleta Pardo. Nómadas [online]. 2012, n.37, pp.13-27. ISSN 0121-7550.

This article suggests a reading of Nietzsche from a new philosophy of the future, understood as a rupture with the present and the raising of something in explainable in the mentioned present. From this point of view an alternative perspective about many of the current ideas on politics and contemporary capitalism is exposed. Thus, a conclusion arises: the "work" of an exceptional individual is able to singularize the processes that originate contemporary subjectivity, creating an "exterior interior"; a free human future, affirmative instead of nihilist.

Keywords : Nietzsche; bio-politics; ontology; will to power; aesthetics; arts.
